A gift of stories — and how to begin

Go to kept4.com/gift and choose Lifetime Access. Enter their email — one email works for a couple — and add a note in your own words. That note is the first thing they read.

They get a private claim link
Nothing for you to set up, no account to build for them. Their email holds one button: “Open my gift.” One tap creates everything — no passwords, no forms, no card. Their email stays their key: signing in is always just a tap on a link we send. (A password or extra security can be added in Settings anytime — but never has to be.)

You stay close to the stories
Once they invite you as family, new stories can reach you as they’re told. You can even leave questions for them — “Tell me about the day you two met” — and the interviewer will ask on your behalf.

One day: the book
Everything they tell builds toward a printed hardcover — their stories in their words, photographs, and small codes you can scan to hear their actual voice. Copies can be ordered for the whole family.

In the email, tap “Open my gift,” then tap the sign-in link that follows. That’s the whole setup. No password to invent, no forms to fill.

Walk through the door
Kept4 opens on a door. Behind it are three ways to begin — write, start with a photograph, or simply talk. Pick whichever feels like you today. There is no wrong door.

Just talk
A gentle interviewer asks one question at a time and actually listens. Ramble freely — rambling is the good part. Two minutes of talking becomes a page in your book.

Two of you? One account.
A couple shares one plan, always. In Settings, add your partner’s name — then a “Who’s telling today?” switch appears, and every story is kept in the right voice. The book will say “Told by Ruth.”

Your voice is kept, not just your words
Stories you speak are saved in your actual voice. In the printed book, a small code sits beside them — your family scans it with a phone and hears you tell it. That is the part they will treasure most.

Private until you say otherwise
Everything is yours alone until you choose to share it. You decide who sees what, story by story — and nothing is ever released without a careful, human process.
